I came across a recipe today. A simple Korean dish that I hope to prepare when i have the time and resources...

Bulgogi (불고기, also Pulgogi) is a popular Korean beef dish.

A Recipe
1 pound thinly sliced steak
5 Tbs. Sugar
1/2 Cup Soy sauce
1 Tbs Garlic Powder
1 Tbs Garlic Salt
5 Tbs Mirin (Sweet Saki)
2 Tbs Sesame Oil
2 Tbs Sesame Seeds
1 Cup split green onions
2 Cups thinly sliced carrots (optional)
Mix all ingredients except carrots. Marinate in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Cook over medium high heat until meat is just short of desired completion. Add carrots and cook for an additional 3 minutes. Serve with rice.


Note
You must serve the meal immiediately or the beef will toughen.
Freeze the steak before slicing. This will allow you to slice very thinly.
