RE: Forgive me, I'm just a little depressed.

Thomas,

I am actually quite busy today. But I believe the Lord wants me to tell you this out of love.

More than 18 months ago, doctor diagnosed there was no hope for my dad, who had a number of health issues including a lung that the doctor saidthe only solution was a transplant. It was a rather long story. But I will cut it short here, relating a personal experience with God, thealmighty and the healer, if you can trust Him with all your might and all your strength!

When I heard the news from my bro. up in Ipoh specialist hospital, it was like you had better come or else....As a son, one can only imaginehow I felt at the time. No words can described it..By God's grace I told my brother, God is dad's healer! The doctor does not have the last word. Jesus has! Stay calm. I will make my way down to the hospital soon.

I cried and knelt on my knees after I hanged up the phone. I cried not in desperation, but with a heart knowing that God was going to be thehealer and no one else as He is a faithful God. I know that I know there was a peace in me, that surpassed all understanding, that God, throughHis son, is somehow going to see my dad healed. I obviously prayed while crying with a peace in my heart knowing and believing God is good andfaithful to His children, and I am one of them!

After the prayer, I immediately called my cell group leader, at that time I was from another church. I asked him to pray with me, and in agreement with me. The bible says when 2 or 3 agree in prayer, anything that you asked and agreed on earth, it shall be done in heaven by our father...(I couldn't remember the exact verse, forgive me). I also enlisted the prayer from my bro & sister in Christ through the prayer of agreement.

I must say I felt that my faith was lifted up much higher, after all that. I myself have some faith but I needed more faith and it was through the prayer of agreement that I found more faith! I was very thankful to God and the dear bro & sis in Christ that have helped to pray in agreement and lifted up my faith. In other words I did just what the bible tells me and what was revealed to me at the time. I have been taught and have believed that those were the prayer of victory from a position of victory. It was not by my own effort! I was just too "weak"at the time.

I thanked God that He through Jesus resurrected my dad; even the doctor, a very experienced physician / surgeon of over 30 years of epxerience and dealt with similar cases before, was so surprised that he had only God to thank. I found out that he is a Catholic later. In fact God also blessed us with a heavily discounted medical fees, which was another miracle in itself!

I pray that you will continue to trust in Him for the complete recovery! Jesus is the healer, conforter and He loves you!

Bro Alex,

Thank you very much for your loving reply. I'm feeling better now.
Thankfully the new medicine that the doctor is giving me doesn't
work hell in me anymore. But I'm still not satisfied. I will still,
continue to pray for a speedy recovery and trusting in God that
after all this is over, I'll be completely free from this health
prison.

Looking forward to living a better life, and meeting better people
that's coming in my way.

Love,
Thomas
