Yo, here I am blogging again. And guess what.. I've just got a long day today. Woke up pretty late in the morning, had my breakfast, then laze around until lunch time when mom and I went out to Novena Square for a meal at Han's. I've got an appointment at Tan Tock Seng Hospital today, so it would be quite convenient for us if we have our lunch near the hospital. It was a heavy meal and I got pretty full so I suggested to go for a walk around United Square to hasten up my slowing-down digestion.

That place was my hang out during my primary school days, not because it's a shopping mall or a very entertaining place to visit. Rather, it was because I usually have my English tuition at Lorna Wiston Study Centre. I was enroled into this British coaching school since I was nine and stopped once my PSLE was over. But I'll never forget the days I spent there with my tuition mates and friends. Now that I went back to United Square to recollect those times, I was shocked by the great transformation the place has become. There were shops everywhere, even the basement is crowded with exhibitions and sales. I saw more people roaming around than I ever expect. This wasn't the case ten years ago.

The whole building was dim and quiet. The only thing I hear after stepping out of my tuition centre were footsteps of office workers travelling in and out of the building. Much of the corners were walled up and you can absolutely see nothing at all until you arrive at the supermarket down at the basement. There were even changes of my past dining hang outs too. MacDonalds is gone, overtaken by Pizza Hut. Chopstick Corner, sadly, is gone also, overtaken by a Food Court. There were other eat-outs sprouting around too, those I've never even been there before. Well, what to say... ten years, things change without needing a surprise look on your face eh?

Well, a short visit of the past ended pretty soon and off I went for my medical appointment. Today I had a preparation done for my up-coming Radiotherapy sessions. Basically they made a mould of my lying down position, did a scan and measurations on me, then made some ticklish markings on sensitive areas of my body. I tolerated the whole process with much patience before returning home.

Met my buddy Robin today for a drink and chat just right after I returned home. Wow, this is great because I never want to stay at home anymore. It now pleases me everytime I get a chance to see the world again. It somehow bores me if I stick around at home during the day.

Anyway, it's been a day. Good day. I'm looking forward to a better day that's yet to come.
