First Choir Practice Today
It's already past twelve, so it's yesterday's news.
Woke up this late morning to have my late breakfast and guess what.. Roti Prata! *smiles* I've not had Roti Prata for months, and it feels great having to eat that again for breakfast. Hehe... I was thinking about Wendy too, and wondering if she would miss this delicacy back home while she's still stuck in the US. *chuckles*
Today, I'm going to go for my very first choir practice in church and I'm going to sing on the day Benny Hinns visits Singapore in the Indoor Stadium. I was pretty nervous as never in my life, have I been in a choir nor sing in a choir.
But the rehearsal was excellent and all of us were pretty fast learners. Guess we prayed before commencing the practice. We were taught to sing a couple of great songs tonight. And besides the need to have a good voice on the real day itself, we need to memorize the lyrics and there are about fourteen songs in the song booklet that each of us were handed to.
Towards the end of the practice, we were told of our attire for the real day. For guys, it will be white long-sleeved shirt, black pants and a dark-coloured tie. Well, I don't like the combination but it's only for two nights and I can wear whatever I want on Sunday service. Yeah!!! *smiles*
Alright... gotta tend to my forum now. I'll just end my post here and I'll be back after tomorrow's choir practice.
