Summary of Events

I booked out on this date. Hurray! My long weekend has finally arrived! This is my block leave weekend - Meaning: I'll be booking into camp on Wednesday night! This is so good. However, the down side is.. that Wendy's having her exam this week and it's so unfortunate that this week is my block leave week. Dang!!!

Nevertheless, I stayed up for a while talking to Wendy. After that, she needs to study.. which thereafter and eventually brings me to the direction of my bed.

I woke up in the late morning; took a shower; then spent an hour or a little more talking to Wendy again.

Went for my service in the evening then return home safely and talked to Wendy again after midnight.

Spent a while talking to Wendy before making my way to the cinema to catch "Kingdom of Heaven" with a friend of mine. It's a very good movie, in my opinion. And I've always like watching war movies or epics with historical settings in them.

The crusades have always been a very sensitive topic ever since the end of them all. In fact, one must not complicate the truth regarding Christianity on the whole by just relating it with the crusades.

The fight for Jerusalem is nothing but a petty warfare between the "Christians" and the Muslims. Before the war, Christians and Muslims alike lived side by side each other without animosity. It was the Knight Templars that messed with the Muslim's trade, which sparked the conflict between both armies.

It was indeed a stupid decision made by Reynald de Chatillon, one of the wicked Generals of the Templars. And because of his act, he caused the entire Christian army's eventual defeat.

As for the gospel, I cannot and will not explain the entire truth right here, because this place simply cannot contain it, for it is beyond one's comprehension. One way is to get a bible, seek God's revelations as you read the word. But don't forget to say the sinner's prayer as well.

God favours the one who brings peace and mediates.He also favours and blesses the one who obeys his Word and keeps the truth, and at the same time, acting by faith on what is right. The kingdom of heaven lies not in the world, but in our mind, our heart, and soul.

I had a few hours of conversation with Wendy again this morning.. after which, I made my way out to go shopping for the game I had in mind. Cossacks II: Napoleonic Wars is the game that has just been released. And I've seen the features and the screenshots. This is indeed a very interesting and challenging PC game that compelled me to go all out looking for it.

I found it though, but the price is a problem - S$54.90!!! Okay, for some, it may not be expensive. But I think that there're better things to buy instead...

When I was single, I won't care less. I'll get that game the moment I laid my eyes on it. But now, Wendy was swimming in my mind the entire afternoon even if I try distracting myself with the game I am about to play on my PC.. hehehe...

So finally I decided to surprise Wendy with something I had in mind. I went to lots of shops to look for the item I was thinking about but none of them had what I wanted. Disappointed, I started heading for the next few stops by train. Then, I had another thing in mind. So I scouted and scouted for that and finally, after so many hours of searching, I came upon a shop and in the end, I bought what I wanted to get for her.
