Back From Camp After One Year of Absence
Hah!!! Finally... I get to blog today and although It's past midnight, I'm glad I'm home. I booked out from camp yesterday evening at around 4 plus and arrived home around 2 hours later.
Well, my first week in camp wasn't very interesting though. Everything seemed to be quite monotonous for this week as my entire platoon was out on a four day three night exercise, leaving only the six of us physically unfit personnal behind to look after the platoon. In fact, there wasn't a single thing to do at all as our sergeants are also out with the rest. So, we spent almost our entire days and nights in the company mass room, playing video games and watching VCDs.
Only recently when my platoon mates returned from their out-field exercise did we have the task of washing their equipments. Yea... and we call that "sai kang". Well... I'm glad to book out early this week. Tomorrow, I'll probably be going to the Army Market in Beach Road to get my rank sewed onto my uniform so as to avoid being charged.
I'm still trying to get myself adapted to this environment all over again as I had too much fun during my sick vacation. Time to get serious and do some time management.
Of course, last but not least... This is my first book out after one year of absence from camp. I wish I'll be posted to be a clerk soon so I could return home everyday to do my stuff and most importantly, spend time with my sweetheart. I really miss her a lot during my stay in camp.. gosh.. and I think this is good too. It makes me learn how to cherish her more.
