Back from Singing Nights
Those singing nights are over. I'm now free to blog again. Hmm.. I just don't know where to start because it is a weekend of revival and miracles in Singapore, which not many people get to see this in their entire lifetime. I am no exception because based on the Benny Hinn Crusade, Pastor Hinn arrived in Singapore way back in the 80s and at that time, I don't know where was I. But this time round, I'm all grown up and am able to witness three services of revivals and miracles in this great crusade.
I am in the choir and therefore getting a seat in the stadium is not a problem at all. Thus, I enjoyed myself and especially the last service, which I felt the anointing was way so powerful than the previous services I attended. The flow of the spirit and God's healing power is so great, that people got healed after receiving healing in their hearts.
Now that I've attended all three of the revival conferences, I have witnessed the people that got healed from various diseases , pains and imperfections. The list is as follows: ~
- Skin Cancer
- Archritis
- Spinal Disorder
- Foot that leaks out puss and water (medication term too long to remember)
- One-eye Blindness
- Lung Cancer
- Serious lung problem that needs oxygen tank
- Serious Asthmatic problem
- AIDS
- Deaf in one ear and born without a ear hole, but the hole opened up that very night
- Kidney failure
- Bed-riddened patient accompanied by ambulance helpers from the hospital (they accepted Christ that very night too after seeing what happened)
- Liver Cancer
- Inability to walk (especially the old folks)
... and the list goes on and on. More than hundreds of people were healed in one Crusade alone. This is so incredible. The presence of God is so strong over the entire stadium that everyone was touched or slain by the anointing of the spirit.
There're a few messages, which I still kept it in my mind. This was what Benny Hinns said before the sick got healed by God. He told us, "It is not difficult to receive healing. It is as easy as getting saved and receiving salvation."
And on certain time when Pastor Hinn approaches a sickly, he would ask this one question, "Sir, do you believe that Jesus Christ can heal you?" And immediately when the response came with a 'yes' - a sincere 'yes', healing starts to take place. It is that easy. Because God is not only our provider, but also our healer.
We have access to God through Jesus, that is why believing in Jesus will get us connected to God. That is the ONLY way to God. God sent Jesus to die on the cross for all our sins and from that day onwards, all those who believes in Jesus will get closer to God. Their soul will not perish after death but rather spent eternity in heaven. If Jesus did not die on the cross, mankind is doomed because they will not receive forgiveness from God for their sins and everything will remain the same.
Pastor Hinns also explained to us about eternity. Here's a rough summary of his message.
What is eternity? Eternity is so big that our mind cannot contain it, because eternity means forever or infinity. Thus, our minds cannot comprehend eternity. The Bible states it very clearly that there is a heaven and a hell. We are to choose where we want to spend the next phase our eternal life in. Because life in this earth is so short. We are so fragile. As we age, our time goes faster and in just a wink of an eye, we'll be on our deathbed. After we die, where would you go?
Where we spend our time in eternity will determine the choice we make right here, right now. There are no other way to heaven except through Jesus. Choose - Heaven or this broken-down world, which eventually leads to hell.
Imagine being tormented in the lake of fire for the rest of our days in eternity.
But the lake of fire is not meant for us humans. It is meant for satan and his fallen angels. Hence, God is waiting for us to repent and turn from our ways to follow Him, and let Him plan our lives and make our paths straight. He has the best for us and He wants to bless us with so much more than one can ever describe.
