Sorrows

My Lord, hear my cry. It is now You and me.
I know I'm never alone. Because You are with me.
In You, I find strength; in You, I find comfort.
For You are my refuge and You are my rest.
I have never given away this love You gave to me.

At times I struggled, at times I'm fuming mad at You.
But I'm grateful; as You have made me.
You make me soar like an eagle, each step higher than before.
You make me more beautiful than any pottery that has ever been moulded.
I am truly an apple of Your eyes, the diamond of Your possessions.

All these times O Lord, You groomed me, You lifted me, You loved me.
Each day I became wiser. Each day I grew stronger. Each day my love for You deepens.
O Lord, You are my source and my salvation. Nothing compares to You.
All of my days I long to know You more.
You lead me to the path of righteousness, into the light and delivered me from darkness.
You restore my soul and gave Your life for me.
And You O Lord, my healer, who healed me and delivered me away from the jaws of death.
My soul cannot express itself; my words will not describe,
How dear You are to me.

O Lord, I am troubled. My heart and soul are troubled.
Each night I couldn't sleep. My bed is drenched with tears.
For I've never felt this lonely in my entire life.
The world has departed from me. People have wronged me.
They spoke lies and utter false testimony against me.
And Lord I pray that no listeners of such will be unwise.
For You O Lord, You delight the truth and hate the lies.
Who are they to judge, and who are they to make false conclusions?
For You O Lord, You know me through and through.
You shall never let these false testimonies go far.
My Lord will make sure those words perish.

It breaks my heart; but I know that my Lord will never fail me.
Neither will I give up my faith on Him for I would be a fool if I do so.
I have suffered much.
And yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil; for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

And although no one knows the way I feel deep down inside me.
You O Lord, are my lover and somebody that I always look up to.
You were there whenever I'm ill, confused and heart-broken; You wept with me.
You were there whenever I'm glad; You celebrate and rejoice with me.
Though no one has ever done that before,
Still, I'm glad that You did.

Lord, I don't know where You are leading me to.
But I know it's some place very beautiful.
Though the journey may be rough, I have been walking with You all these while.
Even if it wasn't, still, it is worth it, just to know You Lord.
I know I will never feel lonely again.

Because of You, I became strong.
Because of You, I became brave.
Because of You, I grew wiser.
Because of You, I chose (and fought my way) to live.
Because of You, I shall not want.

It is You, I learned to obey.
It is You, I learned to give.
It is You, I learned to feel.
It is You, I learned to love.

You are why I sing of You.
You are why I give.
You are why I love.
And You are why I live.

Without You Lord, I would be nothing.
Therefore, strengthen me O Lord,
Make me stronger each day.
Though tribulations and misunderstandings will come before me,
Lord, guide me and lead me through,
And deliver me away from the Evil one.
