Weekend Sermon on Faith & Miracles

Mark 10:46-52

Miracles can come to pass by faith.
The Lord is a miracle-working God. He is willing to reward us for our faith.

7 Steps of turning your Faith loose
1. (Mark 10:47) You must have the desire.
- By having the vision to fulfill the purpose.
- By having hope. (Romans 15:13) God wants you to have so much hope. Hope is the anticipation of something good.
- You have to be clear of what you want and desire.

2. You got to have a decision.
- A decision to believe.
- Do not be double-minded.
- In order to have a miracle, you got to make a decision to have faith.

3. You've got to ask.
- By asking, is by praying.
- Keep asking and keep praying.
- A vision takes a long time to come to pass, therefore we need persistence in our praying and asking.
- Faith is an action, an attitude and an internal confidence.

4. You have to receive the miracle. (Mark 11:24)
- Receive the miracle before you see it.
- Visualize your vision before it come to pass.

5. Start speaking and confessing. (Mark 11:23)
- Don't be neurotic and superstitious.
- "Confession" = Homologeo (Greek)
- You get what you say by faith, when you believe.

6. Seeing.
- Whatever you see in your mind, you shall receive it.
- It may take some time, but it will come to pass, by faith.

7. You have to act it out. (Mark 10:49-52)
- Act on your faith.
- Believe it!
